Artis—Naples is the premier destination for performing arts in Southwest Florida. Hosting over 300 incredible dance, music, opera, and Broadway musical events every year, it is a favorite among seasonal and year-round residents. Long time Naples visitors likely know of Artis—Naples as the famed Naples Philharmonic by name, but in April 2013 a name change became a necessary move in the revamping of the brand by Berliner-Benson, a Brooklyn-based consulting firm.
With a stronger year-round presence from many residents, a younger than average age is now being seen at the institution. Artis—Naples is now programming for more generations and not focusing as much on programming on through the high season months, but rather programming a wider variety throughout the year in a more casual setting. Even with much public opposition from long time Phil goers, Artis—Naples is undeniably a step in the right direction for the future of Naples. The phenomenal location in the heart of North Naples’ most active seasonal communities, Pelican Bay and Bay Colony will continue to bring the same levels of business as ever before, especially with expanded programming.
