Major economic expansion forcast for Naples, Florida

Market

The United States Conference of Mayors concluded their 82nd Winter Meeting on January 24th and major economic expansion of our very own Naples, FL was a part of the buzz!

In a new report, 98% of the nation’s metropolitan areas will see their economies grow this year, compared to 73% in 2013. Forecast to be at the head of the class is Naples, Fla., with the report saying “Naples will be the fastest-growing metro area in the country, with an economy expanding by 6.3%.” It goes on to say, “Naples will also add jobs faster than any other metro in 2014.” Last year provided proof that paradise is in high demand with inventory being at its lowest point in 7 years. The demand for existing homes has increased however, that may change when new home construction catches up, so now is a good time to give me a call if you have been contemplating selling your home.

For both buyers and sellers now is a very good time to make a move. Sellers will benefit from lower inventory numbers and buyers can enter the market at the turn of the market.
